Well, what can you say when you come home and see a woman skinny-dipping in your pool?

That’s what Florida resident Jim Clark encountered when he returned from a doctor’s appointment and found a naked woman in the pool of his Port Charlotte home, WINK-TV reported.

According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, Heather A. Kennedy, 42, is facing charges of trespass in structure or conveyance and resisting an officer without violence. She did not identify herself to deputies, but authorities said the sheriff’s office identified her by using previous jail booking photos.

Clark said Kennedy’s clothing was scattered across his lanai.

“We saw like a shirt and some shoes and a bag, you know, and like a couple denim shorts and a jacket,” Clark told WINK. “Totally unreal, you know?”

Clark told the television station he then noticed Kennedy in the pool -- and in the buff.

“She was basically just lying down, head on the bricks on the side of the pool,” Clark told WINK. “And … just totally incoherent.”

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies asked Kennedy several times to get dressed and leave the pool. After she was clothed, deputies attempted to detain Kennedy, who resisted and told them she would not be going anywhere.

“She was walking out the door, and one of them was running after her,” Clark told WINK. “And so then, they got next door, got her stopped, and three of them got her handcuffed and put her in the car.”

Clark’s pool was apparently not Kennedy’s first stop. His neighbor, Edna Croley, told the television station that the woman tried to get into her pool area.

“She was at the screen door of my pool trying to get it open,” Croley told WINK. “But luckily, I always lock my screen doors to the pool.”

Clark’s pool screen doors were unlocked. He said that will not happen again.

Kennedy remains in the Charlotte County Jail, according to online booking records.
