Don't tell David Draiman that rock is dead.
In a tweet Friday, the Disturbed frontman shouted-out the bands Plush and The Warning for giving him "hope" for rock's future.
"Young powerful women playing real instruments and writing and playing songs the entire rock genre can be proud of," Draiman wrote, alongside a metal horns emoji.
Plush released their self-titled debut album in 2021, and opened for Evanescence and Halestorm's co-headlining tour last fall. They also made an appearance on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with the single "Hate."
As for The Warning, you may have heard their cover of "Enter Sandman" alongside singer Alessia Cara on The Metallica Blacklist tribute compilation. The trio, who are all sisters, also dropped a new EP called Mayday in 2021.
Draiman, meanwhile, recently collaborated with Nita Strauss on the new song "Dead Inside." The single currently sits at number three on Mainstream Rock Airplay.
