DALLAS — Two people are dead in a suspected murder-suicide at a Dallas, Texas, medical examiner’s office.

According to The Associated Press, investigators found a man and woman who were dead from gunshot wounds Tuesday after reports of a gunshot that was heard at a medical examiner’s office in Dallas, Texas.

The man and woman’s bodies were found just before 5 p.m. by officers. Officers were responding to the area after reports of shots fired and a possible active shooter, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office Investigator William Fritz said, according to the AP.

Investigators evaluated the Dallas County medical examiner’s office building and learned that the man had allegedly walked into the complex and shot his wife who worked there, said Fritz, according to the AP.

According to the AP, the man and woman’s identities have not been released.

No other injuries were reported, according to the AP. No further information has been released.
