Everyone’s favorite cartoon death metal band, Dethklok, are on the verge of releasing their third album, ‘Dethalbum III,’ but fans must wait in purgatory no more, as a piece of the upcoming record has been officially released.
‘Dethalbum III’ is scheduled for an Oct. 16 release, but the brilliantly titled ‘I Ejaculate Fire’ is now available for your listening pleasure. ‘I Ejaculate Fire’ is not a departure or progression for the fictional band, but the track consists of the simple and accessible blood-thirst for which Dethklok are beloved.

In a recent interview with Full Metal Jackie, Dethklok mastermind Brendon Small spoke about the direction of ‘Dethalbum III.’ “It definitely has to be heavier than what I would do if I were just making a record because I want to put in everything and I’ll throw in a lot of melody in the guitars but not in the vocals. So I have to keep my voice kind of low and scream-y as possible … When I’m doing that stuff I want to make sure the guitar work is interesting and fast, I have to make sure the rhythms are perfectly played, it can’t be sloppy.”

‘Metalocalypse,’ the Cartoon Network home of Dethklok, premiered its fourth season earlier this year. Look out for ‘Dethalbum III’ on Oct. 16.
