Gibson Guitars have created a signature series guitar for none other than Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale. Fans can get an early peek of the axe that is truly befitting of a rock goddess in the pics below.
Halestorm are currently in the midst of an expansive world tour behind their sophomore release ‘The Strange Case of…,’ which debuted on the Billboard 200 albums chart at #15. The band recently made history when their single ‘Love Bites (So Do I)’ topped the active rock airplay charts, making them the first female-fronted act to do so.

Gibson Guitars paid their respects to the current First Lady of Rock during her recent visit to their Nashville factory by presenting her with her own signature series Gibson Explorer. Hale often plays a white Explorer already, but her new model is a bit flashier with gold hardware, pick guard, frets and pearl tuning knobs.

Hale expressed her gratitude to the guitar makers publicly by tweeting, “Seriously, I nearly cried when I saw this guitar, my whole as a guitar player has waited for this day! Thank you so much to @gibsonUSA.” She furthered the sentiment in a follow-up tweet, saying, “My dream has come true today! I wear this each night with honor for all the people who made it.” There are currently no plans to sell the signature axe commercially, but Lzzy says, “If enough people want it…It will be done.”
