Papa Roach Reveal New Album Title and Offer Tease of First Single

Papa Roach

Papa Roach are releasing the details of their new upcoming disc piece by piece, keeping fans in full suspense. A few weeks ago, the band announced a release date of Oct. 2 for the new release, and now P-Raoch have confirmed the title of the disc will be ‘The Connection.’
In addition to the title, the first single from ‘The Connection’ made its debut in grand fashion, played during Major League Baseball All Stars Home Run Derby on ESPN. The aptly titled ‘Still Swingin’ fits so perfectly with the baseball theme that it will be featured over the course of the next few weeks during select MLB games broadcast on ESPN.

If you missed the Home Run Derby, you can get a listen to the song in the video below. The clip goes behind the scenes of the upcoming video for ‘Still Swingin’ filmed in Brooklyn N.Y.

The zombie-themed video was the brainchild of frontman Jacoby Shaddix’s 7-year-old son, and Shaddix thinks it fits the song perfectly, explaining, “It’s a post-apocalyptic world, one last person still alive and he’s just going about his day killing zombies like it ain’t no thing.” He continues, “I really think that that just kind of like sums the vibe on the song. It’s like at the end of the day P-Roach is still here killin’ it, years later, and we are still swingin’, we are still killin’ it, and this video captures the spirit of that.”

The single will be officially released on July 24.

Kicking off in August, Papa Roach will be spending their time as part of the third annual Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival with Godsmack, Shinedown and Staind. Check out all the dates here.
