Guns N’ Roses wrapped up their Chinese Democracy tour with two shows in Las Vegas at the end of 2011.
In a new interview with Philadelphia 76ers reporter Matt Cord, bassist Tommy Stinson sheds some light on what’s next for the band.
“I can’t say officially, but we’re leaving again in two weeks,” said Stinson. “We’re playing some stuff. It’s all big stuff. When I call you in two weeks and tell you, you’re gonna go, ‘I wanna come!’ It’s gonna be awesome though.”
Stinson went on to talk about the great place the band is in these days, based on the vibes from the tour.
“We had a really good time,” explained Tommy. “The camaraderie was huge. Especially with Axl [Rose] and the band, and the band with the band . I think the addition of DJ Ashba has been really good; I think people are responding to him and I think the band is responding to…y’know, we got no adversaries; we’re just all having a good time with it.”
The American Red Cross is helping people in the Midwest with shelter, food, relief supplies and emotional comfort after tornadoes over the weekend destroyed homes and left thousands without power.
