Green Day have a new live album, titled Awesome as [Expletive], coming out. The release, recorded during the band's tour to support 21st Century Breakdown, is due on March 15.
Green Day recently released a trailer for the album (watch it below), featuring a 2009 performance of "Know Your Enemy." Billie Joe Armstrong and pals also revealed that Awesome as [Expletive] will come as a two-disc, CD/DVD set. This is the second time Green Day have done this, having released the CD/DVD set Bullet in a Bible in 2005.
A track list has yet to be announced, but "Know Your Enemy" and other 21st Century Breakdown tracks are a good bet. So is the unreleased "Cigarettes," which was played during Green Day's summer 2010 tour, and accompanied Armstrong's first hints about the live album when they were in Denver. -gipson.com
