Interview With 'The Strokes' Producer

By Stacey Taylor

99.5 KISS' Quinn interviewed Gordon Raphael. Below, read Quinn's story on how this came to be and why this is such an interesting listen.

  *************

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of sitting down with famed producer, Gordon Raphael, best known for his work on The Strokes' first two albums, Is This It and Room on Fire.

A Seattle native, Gordon is currently residing in Boerne and checking out the budding scene here in San Antonio.  He just wrapped production with local band, Education, on their new album which will be released later this year.  A band I am proud to call my friends, Education gives their take on what it's like to be on the up and coming, and their soul-driven need to make music together.   Enjoy!
