Shinedown has announced the upcoming release of a Deluxe CD/DVD edition of their RIAA platinum certified third album, "THE SOUND OF MADNESS." The two-disc set will be available at all retail outlets on November 23rd, but can be preordered now at the official at http:// store.shinedown.com.

"THE SOUND OF MADNESS: DELUXE EDITION" will include an array of bonus tracks, including limited edition b-sides, alternative versions -- such as an acoustic rendition of the double-platinum-certified crossover smash single, "Second Chance" -- and tracks previously featured on motion picture soundtracks (see tracklisting below). Among the highlights is the new single, "Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom)," which is set to impact at Rock and Alternative radio outlets nationwide on December 6th.

What's more, the DVD gathers the official videos for the album's #1 hits -- including "Devour," "The Crow and The Butterfly," and "If You Only Knew" -- alongside live performances filmed last year at The Tabernacle in Atlanta. Additionally, fans who purchase "THE SOUND OF MADNESS: DELUXE EDITION" CD/DVD set will receive a free one-year membership to the official "Shinedown Nation" fanclub, complete with access to presale tickets, exclusive contests, message boards, photos, video, news updates, and more.

The Deluxe Edition arrives just as the Jacksonville, Florida-based band begins a major U.S. tour, dubbed "Anything & Everything - An Acoustic Evening with Shinedown." The dates kick off on November 4th at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, Florida, and then continue through a tour finale on December 9th at the House of Blues in New Orleans, LA.

Produced by multiple Grammy Award-winner Rob Cavallo (Kid Rock, Green Day), "THE SOUND OF MADNESS" debuted at #8 on the Billboard 200 upon its original 2008 release. Each of the album's singles -- including "Devour, "The Sound of Madness," and the double-platinum certified crossover smash, "Second Chance" -- has gone to #1, continuing the band's stunning streak of rock radio hits.
