FUEL

Fuel is back in San Antonio. The band formerly known a Re-Fueled which consisted of original singer Brett Scallions as the only original member regained the name Fuel. When Scallion left the band in 2006 guitarist and songwriter Carl Bell recruited singer Toryn Green to take over and tour under the Fuel name. While Scallions teamed up with former Buckcherry guitarist Yogi Lonich, former original Fuel bassist Jeff Abercrombie, and drummer Ken Schalk and performed under the name Re-Fueled. Now Abercrombie left and they recruited former Shinedown bassist Brad Stewart and have regained the name Fuel due to former guitarist Carl Bell saying people want to hear Scallion perform Fuel songs so that's what they're going to get.

NINE INCH NAILS

Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor is assuring fans that though he's working on other projects, Nine Inch Nails is NOT dead. NIN played what's said to be their last concert last year, but Reznor says, "I am about to work on some material that I believe will be quite different than previous NIN very soon". In the meantime Reznor is working with his wife, former West Indian Girl singer Mariqueen Maandig and NIN collaborator Atticus Ross to form How to Destroy Angels. The new group has put together a digital 6-track EP that will be available for download within the next few weeks.
