Metal outfit Five Finger Death Punch are out on road for a mix of headlining dates and support shows with Korn before launching a summer run as part of the Rockstar Mayhem Festival.

Following a March 27 appearance at the Extreme Thing festival in Las Vegas, the California-bred band notched its first opening performance for Korn March 29 in Vancouver. A slate of headlining and festival shows got underway April 9 in Columbia, MO, The Mayhem dates - also featuring Korn, along with Rob Zombie and Lamb Of God will begin in July and August.

"War Is The Answer," Five Finger Death Punch's second studio set, surfaced in September. Produced by Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne), the album debuted at No. 7 on The Billboard 200 and follows the band's 2007 debut, "The Way Of The Fist."

"It's a phrase we've had up our sleeves for some time, and I've been talking about it a lot in interviews," guitarist Zoltan Bathory told UK music rag Metal Hammer last year, describing the new album's title. "In fact, somebody just asked me: 'If war is the answer, then what is the question?,' and I guess the answer to that is 'the meaning of life!' Because life IS war.
