Yesterday Pearl Jam is proud to unveil the new Pearl Jam Mobile Bootleg Application designed to give the band's fans access to live music from their entire 2009 tour via a new, free mobile application on Verizon Wireless. From now until Pearl Jam's Nov. 29 show in Christchurch, New Zealand, fans will be able to download three live, exclusive bootleg tracks per show, wallpapers and more.

The new Pearl Jam Mobile Application is available first to Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Tour customers and will roll out as part of V CAST Apps, Verizon Wireless' planned mobile application storefront scheduled to launch later this year. To get the application, fans can text "PJ" to "5509" and then click on the link from their BlackBerry Tour's browser.

The Pearl Jam Mobile Bootleg Application is the ultimate backstage pass, giving fans access to live bootleg songs and images from nearly every show venue, as well as tour date information and individual set lists of which songs were played each night. The high-quality MP3 content, which features a mix of old and new songs, will be available after each performance - giving fans the experience of touring with the band all over the world.
