The Beastie Boys have revealed that their new album will be called Hot Sauce Committee. This will be the band's first long-player since The Mix-up, an instrumental collection that was released in 2007.
The news was announced via an email to fans, which read: "Our new record that is coming out that we finished the other day is called HOT SAUCE COMMITTEE."
No release date has been confirmed, but if HSC is complete then surely we won't have to wait too long for it.Fans will most likely be getting a taste of the new material as they play select shows throughout the US including Austin City Limits in October at Zilker Park.
To celebrate the announcement, The Beastie Boys appeared on Monday's 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon', joining house band The Roots for an obscenely funky version of So What'cha Want from 1992's Check Your Head. You can watch the performance below.
