Located on the Trinity University campus in San Antonio, the Laurie Auditorium schedules a number of lectures, speeches, concerts, and other performing arts events. Laurie Auditorium is the largest facility on Trinity University's campus, with seating for 2,700. The amphitheater is best known for its Distinguished Lecture Series, which features both influential Texas natives as well as celebrities like Bill Cosby, John Glenn, Henry Kissinger, Vicente Fox, Hall Holbrook, and many more. It also schedules a number of musical programs for children, including performances by the San Antonio Symphony Young People and the Children's Fine Arts Series that have become popular among families. Laurie Auditorium has also been known to sell tickets to the public for various jazz and blues concerts featuring artists like Patti Labelle and B.B. King, as well as unique performances like Stomp.
