Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio is accepting Mini Grant applications from non-profit organizations that are helping meet the community’s health needs.
This year the Mini Grants Committee, which grants up to $7,500 to recipients, will award $173,820. The deadline for Mini Grant applications is noon, Monday, July 1.
Groups such as churches, grass-root organizations and smaller nonprofits that help meet the health and wellness needs of their communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
Organizations having 501(c)(3) designation by the Internal Revenue Service may submit Mini Grant applications for their request that addresses a community healthcare need. Funds awarded for the project or program should serve residents in the Foundation’s eight-county geographic area—Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Medina and Wilson. The Foundation is only able to consider one request per organization per year, and organizations must have at least one full year of operating history.
Details regarding the Mini Grant application process can be found on the Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio’s website: www.bhfsa.org. You may also call Eusebio Diaz, the Foundation’s Vice President (Program), at 210-735-9009, for more information.

Its purpose is to fund not-for-profit healthcare services and health education in Bexar County and surrounding counties. Its mission is to be committed to improving the health of its community by fostering and funding clinical, educational, spiritual and scientific initiatives while honoring God and its Baptist heritage.
