Hope, Steps & A Cure 5K Run & Walk San Antonio/2013, www.AAMDS.org/Walk, is a fun and festive walk for patients with bone marrow failure disease, their families, friends and supporters and will include team photos and inspiring stories from patients, family members and medical professionals. The walk itself will start at 10:00 am. For the second year we are including a 5K run in order to attract a larger audience and educate more people about bone marrow failure disease and the work of the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation. $100 prize each for top male and female winner. 6:30 am - Registration for Hope, Steps & A Cure 5K Run 9:00 am - Registration for Hope, Steps & A Cure 1- and 2-mile Patient & Family Walk Billy Kiesel, Singer, Song Writer and Performer, will serves as our Celebrity Starter: http://www.aamds.org/patient-chronicles/billy-kiesel And the San Antonio Spurs Coyote Mascot will join us again as well $25 to Run; $15 if you are both running and walking with a Patient & Family Team $25 to Walk $100 prize for the top female and top male runners
