The City of New Braunfels Community Emergency Response Team (CNB CERT) is seeking individuals willing to volunteer during times of need. CERT is a program that prepares you to help yourself, your family and your neighbors in the event of a disaster. During a disaster, emergency services personnel may not be able to reach everyone immediately. You can use the specialized training and skills that you learn as a CERT volunteer to assist local emergency responders when needed. Members of the CNB CERT will be valued resources to first responding emergency service agencies and an important component of the City’s Emergency Management Program. CERT certification requires the completion of 20 hours of classroom and practical application and the training is FREE.
