The foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, was incorporated to provide scholarship grants for current and active SPURS and current students at Trinity University, one of the nation’s top private universities.Founded in 1932.Spurs Sorority Foundation holds a roster of 1,400 alumnae who embody the spirit and excellence of Trinity’s tradition and history. The foundation will host the celebration of Spurs 80th Anniversary year in gorgeous San Antonio, Texas, during Alumni Weekend November 9-11, 2012.ALL proceeds from the 80th Anniversary Celebration will go to the endowment fund of the Spurs Sorority Foundation, supporting scholarships at Trinity University.
