Texas Parks & Wildlife Hunter Education Classes Texas Parks & Wildlife will be conducting Hunter Education classes during the following weekends. Anyone born after September 2, 1971 is required to complete this course to legally hunt in the state of Texas. Proof of certification is required to be on your person while hunting. This certification is not required to purchase your hunting license. Please contact John Rodriguez (TPWD-volunteer instructor) at 830 510-4996 to reserve a seat. Course is taught over a two day period and the cost is $15.00 per student. Seating is limited and all classes will begin at 12 noon.
