This event is free and open to the public. Our special guest speakers will be Ken Mercer and Anita McLaurin. Ken Mercer is a current member of the Texas Board of Education, and former member of the House of Representatives who will give insight to the status of School Choice in Texas. Anita McLaurin is an educator and curriculum development expert at New Life Christian Academy who will shed light on the value of parental involvement in student achievement.
