Brought to you by MAX’s Wine Dive and Boiler House Texas Grill & Wine Garden, MAX’s sister restaurant scheduled to open Fall 2012, San Antonio Cellar Classic became a new tradition on the San Antonio food and wine scene when it debuted in 2011. This year’s San Antonio Cellar Classic offers two amazing opportunities to enjoy food and wine in two unique settings: a “Reserve” Dinner on Friday, October 12 at MAX’s and a Grand Tasting on Saturday, October 13 at the Stable at Pearl Brewery. The San Antonio Cellar Classic Reserve Dinner features an exclusive five-course dinner, compliments of the talented culinary team at MAX’s Wine Dive. Join fellow food and wine lovers for this multi-course gourmet culinary tour de force paired with the perfect wines from MAX’s extensive and unique list. MAX’s sommeliers and culinary staff will discuss their theories and motivations behind the wine and food pairings and you’ll receive insight into the dinner pairings. The event will be Friday, October 12, 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in MAX’s Wine Dive’s semi-private dining room. The dinner is $125 per person or $225 per couple and is limited to 40 guests. The San Antonio Cellar Classic Grand Tasting at Pearl Brewery is Saturday, October 13 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the beautiful Stable event venue adjacent to the new Boiler House Texas Grill & Wine Garden location. Enjoy the finest wines from around the world while dining on the tastiest bites in San Antonio and listening to fantastic live music. Food at the Grand Tasting will be provided by MAX’s Wine Dive, Boiler House, and other excellent local restaurants. VIP ticket holders will have the opportunity to sample more than 80 wines and enjoy exclusive VIP food samplings. Pre-sale tickets are $35 per person for General Admission and $80 per person for VIP access until September 13. After September 13 and at the door, prices will be $40 per person for General Admission and $90 per person for VIP.
